Book - 14

In my last e mail I had mentioned that golf is a difficult game and I should not be wasting my time on it. Despite this,  I have continued with golf. It is addictive.  I thought I will send you an e mail about golf books that I have read and perhaps it may be easier for me to leave golf.

Allahabad does not have any golf coach and the best player here has  handicap of 6. A handicap is an indication of ones ability to play golf. Lower the handicap,  better the game.   Here are the  books:

1.   Guide to Playing Golf by Steve Duno

2.   How to Play your Best Golf All the Time by Tommy Armour

3.   Power Golf by Ben Hogan

4.   Play Better Golf  by Jack Nicklaus

5.   Golf for Dummies by Gary McCord

6.   Dave Pelz's short game bible

These books are helpful. If you are just starting and want to buy one book then I would recommend Guide to Playing Golf by Steve Duno. It is simple, easy to understand and comprehensive. It is from 'Keep it Simple Series' (KISS).  However by reading  books, one can not play good golf. It depends on ones ability to translate it into action. Best of luck and happy golfing. I hope you will play much better golf and would not be a dud golfer like me.
